New Hire Roadmap

Attorney Assistant New Hire Roadmap — 9 steps from application to deployment
1

Application Submission

Your journey begins once you complete and submit the Attorney Assistant Application Form. Your profile enters our recruitment system for evaluation by the Recruitment Team. Qualified applicants proceed to interview.

2

Initial Interview

Selected applicants attend the initial interview with a Recruitment Specialist. Candidates who successfully pass the initial interview will receive next steps after confirming non-negotiable pay rate and payroll information that will be applied if/when they are matched with a client. Applicants not selected will receive formal notification.

3

Training and Certification

Passing candidates complete required training programs designed to make you client-ready and aligned with Attorney Assistant standards. Training completion is required before placement eligibility.

4

Bench Status

After training, you enter the Bench — our active pool of deployment-ready candidates awaiting client matching opportunities.

5

Placement Matching & Interview

When your skills are a match for a placement opportunity, you will receive a placement interview invitation. You are expected to respond to the Placement Coordinator to accept or decline the opportunity. Accepted candidates proceed to the Placement Interview. Candidates who pass the interview will be endorsed to the Client Success Manager for review. If not selected, you return to the Bench for future opportunities.

6

Final Qualification & Client Endorsement

The Client Success Team conducts a final review before endorsing your profile to the client, including: Resume, Assessments, Recruitment evaluations, and Introduction Video. Your Introduction Video plays a key role in client decisions.

7

Client Selection

Clients may either conduct an interview (Selection Meeting), or select candidates directly from endorsed profiles.

8

Job Offer

Selected candidates receive an official Job Offer outlining compensation, role expectations, and start details.

9

Onboarding & Deployment Critical Stage

Upon offer acceptance, onboarding begins. Your Onboarding Specialist will send required pre-onboarding tasks with strict deadlines. Failure to complete requirements may:

  • Delay deployment
  • Risk placement
  • Affect future opportunities

Timely completion ensures smooth deployment to your assigned client.

How to Get Noticed for a Placement

One of the tools the Placement Team uses for vetting candidates for our clients is the introduction video many of you recorded when you applied with Attorney Assistant. For some of you, your video may be outdated or you may just want to spruce it up with a fresh background and new information. We would love for all of our candidates to download our AA Virtual Background and use that as the background in your video.

Here are a few other tips for recording your video:

  1. Record your video in a quiet space with no distractions or background noise.
  2. Be professional! Dress the part and speak clearly and concisely.
  3. In your video, BRIEFLY share your skills and experience. Tell us how you can be an asset to a future client's team.

Your video is your time to shine and to share with us and the client about who you are and how you can add value to their team.

You can email your new video to placement@attorneyassistant.com and we will upload it to your profile.
